TACOMA, Wash. — A 39-year-old Tacoma man was injured Friday night when he was struck by a drunk driver, state patrol investigators said.
The man outside his car changing a flat tire on the right shoulder of SR-512 just east of 31st St. SW when an approaching car drifted onto the shoulder and crashed into the man.
The victim was rushed to Tacoma General Hospital, but his condition is not known.
The driver of the car was not hurt but investigators believe he was drunk. He’s been booked for investigation of vehicular assault and driving under the influence. View full post on “drunk” News
