WSP: Man crashes truck during drunk driving pursuit

A suspected drunk driver led troopers on a chase through Snohomish County Saturday night before rolling his truck over an embankment, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Around 8:00p.m., troopers tried pulling the driver over as he headed north on I-5 in Everett.
WSP says the man exited the freeway at the Everett trestle and went around Snohomish County before getting back on the interstate.
In an attempt to stop the Chevy truck, troopers laid tack strips down near the trestle and ended up taking out one the truck’s tires.
WSP was finally able to get a hold of the driver after performing a pit maneuver near Marysville. Troopers say the truck rolled over an embankment before coming to a stop. The man was able to get out of his car before being placed under arrest.
WSP says the 40-year-old was booked into jail for driving under the influence and eluding officers. View full post on “drunk” News
