Woman hit by alleged drunk driver

A Bellevue resident has been arrested for DUI vehicular assault after hitting a woman while she crossed the street in Bellevue this morning.
According to Bellevue police, at 7:21 a.m. a 60-year-old woman was crossing a street outside a crosswalk in the 15200 block of Northeast 20th Street when she was struck by a car.
According to witnesses, the car did not slow down as it approached the pedestrian. The woman was thrown by the car. She was taken to Overlake Medical Center. She is in critical condition.
