Downtown Fremont was even more packed than usual thanks to an unseasonably warm evening last Saturday, and that could mean only one thing: drunken shenanigans.
On Sunday afternoon, a man showed up at the Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct to report being beaten by a bouncer outside a bar in the 300 block of North 36th Street the previous night. According to the police report for the incident, the man had a black eye, bruised forehead, scrapes and a potentially sprained ankle.
The man told officers his friends got into the bar around 11:30 p.m. But, the bouncer wouldn’t let him in because he was deemed too drunk, despite having only seven beers and being “drunk but not overly drunk,” according to the report.
