Update: SPS names top three finalists for leadership post

The top three finalists have been selected in the hunt for the next superintendent of Seattle Public Schools.
The school board made the announcement today.
The three finalists include:José L. Banda, Superintendent of Anaheim City School DistrictSteven W. Enoch, Superintendent of San Ramon Valley Unified School District Sandra L. Husk, Superintendent of Salem-Keizer School District
SPS says the pool of 42 applicants was narrowed down to these three based on a list of desired characteristics and traits the community helped create.
“These three really stood out from our pool. We have a lot of good things happening and we are really looking forward to someone getting in and getting started” said Michael DeBell, president of the school board.
