The Fremont Fair is finally here

Forecasts of clouds and showers be damned, the 40th Annual Fremont Fair is finally here this weekend. Get ready for naked cyclists, colorful hippies, live music, drunk college kids and crowds, crowds, crowds.“The Fremont Fair is one of Seattle’s most beloved neighborhood street festival, featuring a weekend of eclectic activities that celebrate the quirky community of Fremont, the self-proclaimed ‘center of the universe,’” the fair’s website states.More than 100,000 revelers are expected to descend on Fremont June 18 and June 19 to check out the art, food, street performers, bands, art cars, and more.The Fremont Fair is put on by The Fremont Chamber of Commerce and raises money for local nonprofits, including Solid Ground.Check out the Fremont Fair website for more information and schedules.
