Study led by School of Education professor links alcoholism to delay and survival of marriage

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A new study finds a strong association between alcohol dependence and persons delaying or ending a marriage. Indiana University School of Education Assistant Professor in Counseling and Educational Psychology Mary Waldron is the lead author of "Alcoholic Marriage: Later Start, Sooner End," published in the April 2011 journal Alcoholism: Clinical & Experimental Research, and currently available online.
