Two friends’ attempt at chivalry went awry when the women they agreed to escort home from a bar lured them to an alley where they were attacked and robbed by two other men, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The friends were drinking at the Streamline Tavern in lower Queen Anne Feb. 11 when two women asked them to walk them home shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to the police report for the incident.
According to the report, the women led the friends to an alley between Second Avenue West and Third Avenue West where two other men attacked and robbed the friends, leaving them bloodied and wallet-less.
The friends, who were drunk at the time, were unable to provide officers with a good description of their attackers or the women who led them to the alley, according to the report.
At least the friends didn’t lose any money in the robbery, as both their wallets were empty at the time.
