While being choked by her boyfriend’s best friend early last Thursday in Ballard, a woman’s final thoughts turned to her 6-year-old daughter and the life she would live without her, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Multiple people in the 4600 block of Shilshole Avenue Northwest called police to report a woman screaming and yelling around 2:31 a.m. April 19. After 10 minutes of searching, officers finally located the woman, who had climbed over barbed wire onto private property nearby, according to the police report for the incident.
According to the report, the woman had cuts on her hands and knees, bruised thighs and marks on her face and neck. She was also drunk and hysterical, according to the report.
The woman told officers she was drinking with her boyfriend’s best friend, who works with her on a boat docked nearby, when they decided to walk to 7-Eleven for more beer.
