Police: Woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend

Police arrested a woman after they say she stabbed her boyfriend multiple times.
Early Saturday – just before 1:00a.m. – East Precinct officers responded to a call of a domestic violence situation on the 300 Block of East Republican Street on Capitol Hill. When officers arrived they found a 37-year-old man covered in blood inside an apartment.
Police say he was drunk and hostile towards officers. Officers were able to get the man outside where he was treated for non-life-threatening stab wounds to his back, his shoulder, and wrist.
Officers then found the suspect, a 40-year-old woman,  inside the apartment bedroom. She was arrested and has been booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
