A drunk pedestrian was injured Thursday afternoon when he was struck by a car in Auburn, police said.According to Commander Mike Hirman, the 31-year-old man was trying to cross five lanes of traffic near a gas station in the 1700 block of Auburn Way North when he was hit by the car just after 2 p.m.The victim’s injuries were serious enough to warrant an airlift to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.Hiram says it appears the pedestrian was drunk and the driver won’t likely face any charges.
