Despite a distinct lack of evidence, a man claims he was attacked by an unknown assailant Sunday evening after leaving a bar in lower Queen Anne, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Passersby found the man on the ground in the 600 block of First Avenue North, according to the police report for the incident.
When officers arrived, the man told them he left a nearby bar shortly before 5:45 p.m. Feb. 20 when someone hit him in the head really hard, knocking him to the ground.
The man didn’t see who hit him and couldn’t offer any more details about the attack, according to the report. He told officers he still had all his belongings on him.
According to the report, the man didn’t have any visible injuries to his head from being hit but did have a bloody, possibly broken nose and a small cut on his hand. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told officers they did not see anyone attack the man or run away from the scene. According to
