A driver, who was likely drunk at the time, hit an officer with his car before slamming it into three patrol cars while trying to avoid arrest early Friday morning in Green Lake, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Police received a call about a possible DUI in the 7900 block of Densmore Avenue North around 12:30 a.m.
When the first officer arrived, the 22-year-old driver was seated inside the parked car and refused to get out, instead driving off with a flat tire, according to police.
A short time later, officers found the car driving slowly nearby. According to police, the driver stopped the car in the middle of the street but still refused to get out.
This time, the driver put the car into reverse and accelerated at officers, hitting one with his open door, according to police. According to police, the car then smashed into one patrol car, pushing it into a second patrol car.
