If you plan to party this Sunday, don’t forget to have a DD (designated driver).
It may seem like a no-brainer, but police say Super Bowl Sunday has historically proved to be a dangerous time on area roads.

According to officials, nearly 200 people have been arrested for DUI on Super Bowl Sunday since 2009. Included in those arrests – drunk drivers using King County roads.
The increased patrols are part of a coordinated effort by a number of local law enforcement agencies to reach zero deaths on Washington roads by 2030.
