Remember earlier this month when an irate patron sliced another man with a knife at the Scarlet Tree in Roosevelt? Well, now the police have released surveillance footage of the suspect, and they’re hoping someone recognizes him.
The attack occurred around 1:15 a.m. Aug. 2 at the bar near Northeast 65th Street and Eighth Avenue Northeast.
According to witnesses, the suspect had been coming and going from the bar all night. The suspect, who by that point was very drunk, got into a fight with the DJ before bouncers tried to remove him from the bar, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Before he could be removed, the suspect took out a knife and started swinging it around, leaving an uninvolved 28-year-old man with a 10-inch cut across his stomach, according to the police report for the incident.
Since the suspect escaped before officers arrived, police are asking anyone who recognizes the man talking to the bartender in the above video to call the SPD tip
