Police used text messages to identify him and call his mother.”It’s the worst thing a mother can go through seeing their child hooked up to all these tubes,” said his mother Joy Ann Snape. “And he woke up this morning and he didn’t even recognize me after having brain surgery.”Snape says doctors had to immediately get her son into surgery to drill a small hole in his skull to relieve pressure on his swollen brain.”I mean, the doctors can’t even tell me if he’s going to be OK,” she said. “It’s just really hard to see him just laying there motionless. He’s not the Jeremiah I know.”Jensen is a long distance runner and soccer player.
