Officer injured while chasing suspected drunk driver

A Marysville police officer injured his wrist while chasing down a suspected drunk driver early Tuesday morning, officials said.According to Marysville police, the officer tried to pull the car over on Grove Street just before 2 a.m. He eventually stopped the car with a spike strip in the 5700 block of 47th Ave. – but the driver ran off.The officer apparently injured his wrist while going over a fence, but was not otherwise injured.Police dogs tracked down the driver.
