BELLEVUE, Wash. — A 58-year-old man is recovering after being hit by a suspected drunk driver late Monday night in Bellevue.
The man was waiting with another person for a bus on Bellevue Way near Main Street just before midnight, said Carla Iafrate with Bellevue police. The driver was turning left from Main Street onto Bellevue Way when she lost control, went across the road and struck the man before crashing into a light pole.
The victim was taken to Overlake Hospital with a significant leg injury among other injuries.
Meanwhile the driver, identified as a 25-year-old woman, was arrested for investigation of DUI and vehicular assault. View full post on “drunk” News
