A man accused of leaving a woman for dead after a hit and run crash faced a skeptical judge this week.
Gregory Andrews pleaded not guilty to vehicular assault. He’s accused of running into Amy Wickstrom, a Fox Island woman, as she rode her bike in Gig Harbor last month.
Her husband tracked Andrews down after searching for two weeks and alerted police. A judge ordered, Andrews who has a history of drunk driving, to wear a monitor device to make sure he stays away from alcohol.
“No alcohol or drugs, no drinking plain and simple, it’s that easy. You drink, guess what happens? Guess? You come back to jail, real easy. You drink, you lose your freedom,” said the judge.
Andrews bail was set at $25,000.
