Troopers will be all over county roads this Labor Day weekend – looking for drunk drivers.According to Snohomish county officials, the extra patrols are paid for by an overtime traffic safety grant through the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.”Twenty-five lives have been lost in traffic crashes this year in Snohomish County,” said Tracy McMillan, Snohomish County’s DUI & Target Zero Task Force manager. “Many of these were caused by a driver who chose to speed and/or drive under the influence.”The task force is also warning vehicle and motorcycle drivers to share the road.
