A police car gets hit from behind, the suspect – a drunk driver.
Seattle police say just after 2:40 Sunday morning an officer was headed northbound along the 12200 block of Aurora Ave. His speed: approximately 30 mph.
Through his rear view mirror – the officer noticed headlights approaching his patrol car. He tried speeding up to avoid being hit, but his car was slammed from behind. The suspect’s car finally came to a stop against a cement post in front of a fire hydrant.
No one was injured. Police say three men were inside the car at the time of the crash.
