A 35-year-old man was killed this morning while riding his bike on Northeast 124th Street.
According to Kirkland police, the collision of a vehicle and the bicyclist occurred at 2:50 a.m. in the 13200 block of Northeast 124th Street.
According to police, the SUV continued for a block before returning to the scene of the collision. The cyclist was pronounced dead when medics arrived.
Police arrested the driver of the SUV, Redmond resident Nathan J Godwin, 27, for investigation of DUI, and they were also interviewing a passenger, officials said. Neither were hurt in the crash.
