EVERETT, Wash. — An adult and three children were injured in Everett Tuesday afternoon when a woman suspected of driving drunk jumped a curb and crashed into them.
The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Everett Avenue, according to Aaron Snell of the Everett Police Department.
Police say the 31-year-old Everett woman was driving northbound when she hopped a curb and slammed into the four pedestrians.
All four victims were taken to a local hospital. A 40-year-old man visiting from Minnesota is being treated for two broken legs and his 16-year-old son is being treated for a broken ankle. The man’s 8-year-old niece and a 2-year-old nephew are also being treated for unknown injuries.
The 2-year-old was in a stroller when the car hit him.
